Apple iPhone X May Discontinue
Once the most viral, beautiful and most expensive smartphone of 2017 Apple iPhone X, now has come to a stage that may lead to its discontinuation. Yes, it is true. According to recent reports by AppleInsider, acclaimed KGI Securities’ analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says that bad sales of the Apple iPhone X may lead to its discontinuation i.e.’End of Life’. Its production may come to halt by this Summer. Previously Apple had discontinued iPhone 5c in 2014.
Moreover, Statistics from a report by Cowan shows that the interest in new iPhones has seen an all-time low.

According to the reports, Kuo says the move is taken due to the poor demand of the smartphone especially in China where people demand big screen smartphones. They don’t like the “notch” in the iPhone X and see it as removing some usable space. iPhone 8 offers all this at a much lower price. Kuo states that Apple will have 5% growth in first six months of 2018 due to the all three iPhones(iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X) launched for the first time.
Kuo further adds and believe that Apple will see around 10% growth at the end of 2018 due to launch of new three variants of iPhone X- the second generation 5.8inch iPhone X, a 6.5inch iPhone X Plus and an iPhone SE replacement which will support Face ID. Discontinuation of iPhone X may not be a bad decision if Apple takes it. The three new iPhones to come by the end of this year will see certain improvements.
