Audi Q8 Spied on Indian Roads
Once again, Audi Q8 has been seen on Indian roads for testing. Previously, many images were surfaced online regarding car been tested on Indian roads. Audi Q8 will have a global debut later this year and will be a direct competitor to BMW Q6. Moreover, Audi is testing this car in various countries.
Audi Q8 is based on Volkswagen Group’s MLB platform and looks quite same like the Lamborghini Urus. Audi Q8 will come with tons of feature and will be a flagship car in Audi’s SUV range. The car was seen being in tests in Mumbai, Maharashtra and there were no badging even the Audi Logo. The car is almost similar to the concept car which was shown at 2017 Detroit Show. Moreover, it also has all LED headlamps and also LED Daytime running lamps. In addition, there can be OLED tail lamps like the one we can see on the Audi A8 sedan. It is covered with black camouflage. The car is also seen with black alloys and roof mounted spoilers.
Moreover, it may come with 3.0 TFSI six-cylinder engine, an electric power compressor etc. The company says that Audi Q8 will churn out 469bhp and a massive 700Nm of torque. It will come with an eight-speed automatic gearbox.
As there is very less camouflage on the car, this may be an indication that the car is in the final phase of testing and development and the production may soon begin.
The Audi Q8 is already on the production line in Audi’s Bratislava plant in Slovakia and we may see the car at Geneva Motor Show in March.
