Counter-Strike Co-Creator Arrested

Jess Cliffe who is co-creator of Valve’s popular multiplayer shooter Counter-Strike reportedly has been arrested by Seattle Police on Thursday for allegations which relate to sexual exploitation of a child according to reports.

. According to Kyro 7( a local Seattle New Site), Jess Cliffe has been denied bail. Moreover, Valve claims they have given a suspension to Cliffe until more details are out.

“We are still learning details of what actually happened. Reports suggest he has been arrested for a felony offence. As such we have suspended his employment until we know more,” a spokesperson for the company told Kotaku.

Further, Jess Cliffe was working in Valve since 2003 and the multiplayer single shooter game Counter-Strike was his creation with the help of designer Minh Le. They began working on the game since 1999. The latest entry is Counter-Strike: Global Offensive which is also one of the most played PC games in India.
