iPhone X with 5.8-Inch ‘Super Retina’ Bezel-less Display and Face ID launches

    iPhone X is Here!

    With the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, Tim Cook has announced the iPhone X or the iPhone ten which features several massive and thrilling technologies which one can imagine. The iPhone X starts from $999(Around Rs.64,000) for the 64GB variant and goes till $1,149(Around Rs.73,000) for the 256GB variant in the US. In India, the price will start from Rs.89,000 and will go up to Rs.1,02,000. The pre-orders in India will start from October 27 and the smartphone will hit the stores on November 3.

    DISPLAY:

    As the trend is following, Apple has also maintained the trend by launching 5.8inch “Super Retina” Bezel-less Display smartphone. The iPhone X Super Retina supports 2046×1125 resolution with pixel density of 455PPI and HDR compatibility.

    FACE ID:

    Moreover, this is the first iPhone ever made which will not have a home button with the screen having an edge-to-edge display. If you want to wake up the smartphone, just pick it up or Swype on any part of the screen. Moreover, if you want to close an app, swipe up the screen and throw it. For reaching Siri, just say “Hi Siri” or press the side button.

    For iPhone Security, Apple has come up with a feature they call it as Face ID which means the iPhone X gets unlocked by detecting the user’s face. This feature is supported by the depth-sensing camera in the front.

    So now the iPhone knows your face very accurately and unlocks itself even if it is lying on the table. Apple says the chances that someone can trick FaceID and break into your phone are 1 in a million.

    “You’re wearing glasses, or wear a hat, or do it up any way you want to do it…” FaceID still works, day or night, according to Phil Schiller.

    Face ID works with True Depth Camera system, equipped with an infrared camera, dot projector, flood illuminator and a lot more. This feature is useful for Apple Pay now and a new feature has come up known as Animojis for messaging. This feature helps to add facial expressions to emojis with the help of Face ID.

    SPECIFICATIONS:

    The iPhone X, as well as the new iPhones that were announced today, come with wireless charging, and glass back. Wireless charging is supported by Qi, which is considered as a standard in wireless charging industry. The battery life is two hours more than iPhone 7 Plus. A new charging mat called as AirPower has also been announced.

    The iPhone X comes with the new A11 Bionic processor, hexacore 64-bit chipset, two high-performance chipsets and much more.

    CAMERA:

    The dual camera setup on the iPhone X is amazing. The rear camera features a 12-megapixel sensor with dual lenses at f/1.8 aperture and f/2.8 aperture. The handset comes with OIS quad-LED TrueTone flash.

    With the beast performance engine and the dual camera setup, Apple has introduced a new feature called Portrait Lighting which lets users select their lighting.Videos can now be captured in 4K and at 60FPS in low-light mode. Slow motion videos shot in 1080p will have 240FPS.

    The front facing camera has True Depth Camera system that supports Face ID. The best news available is that Portrait mode and Portrait lighting will now be available at front camera.
