Volvo S90 

Volvo has proven that it makes the safest cars in the world. The top three cars with highest safety ratings are all from the company Volvo S90, V90 and the XC90.

Euro NCAP is a place for testing the safety of the cars that are for sale in the European market. Moreover, all NCAP’s have design to help people to choose the best and safe cars as per their budget and requirements. And today, Volvo S90 has got five star rating in terms of safety by Euro NCAP which is the maximum rating. Last year, Volvo’s XC90 became the safest car in the ratings by Euro NCAP and now it is Volvo S90.

The Scores received by the Volvo S90 in various categories:

  • Adult Occupant: 95 per cent
  • Child Occupant: 80 per cent
  • Pedestrian: 76 per cent
  • Safety Assist: 93 per cent

Moreover, the additional safety features in S90 and V90 is the autonomous emergency braking system, speed assistance, lane assistance and ISOFIX mounts for child seats. Volvo S90 includes front, side head, side chest and side pelvis airbags for the passenger in front with the driver. In addition, it also includes knee air bags for the driver and many more airbag for the passengers seating at the back. Furthermore, the Volvo S90 costs Rs.53.5 lakh(Ex Showroom Delhi) and it has many rivals in the indian market like BMW 5 series, Audi A6 etc.

 

Finally, Volvo’s mission 2020 is that no one dies or is seriously injured in a new Volvo car. And by the results, Volvo is actually working upon this. After these reports, Volvo cars are for personal safety. Excluding the competition from its rivals in features, Volvo gives utmost importance to the passenger safety.
