Samsung Galaxy S8 comes with a bigger screen at 5.8-inch. It comes in Black, Blue and Silver colour.

After the full comparison, we found that iPhone 7 is sleek and very smooth to handle but after holding Samsung Galaxy S8, the latter was more cool and handy to use. For the design, Samsung wins the competition.

Samsung Galaxy S8 features a 5.8-inch QHD+ (1440×2960 pixels) Super AMOLED Display with 567ppi.The display comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 screen protection. Company calls the display as ‘Infinity Display’.

At the comparison, Samsung Galaxy S8 has a more stunning and sharper display then the iPhone 7. Samsung uses AMOLED Display which brings more richer colours and better contrast. Here also Samsung wins.


iPhone 7 has a very beautiful 12 megapixel rear camera. There is an improvement in six element lens along with a wider f/1.8 aperture. There is a new Quad LED Flash which is 50% brighter than the older iPhone. Moreover, there is a 7 megapixel front camera for taking selfies.

Samsung Galaxy S8 comes with 12 Mega-Pixels ‘Dual Rear Camera Setup’ with Optical Image Stabilisation(OIS) with f/1.7 aperture. There is also an 8 Mega-Pixels Front camera with autofocus and f/1.7 aperture for shooting beautiful selfies.

As per the specifications and dual camera setup at the back, Samsung Galaxy S8 boasts a good camera in comparison.


iPhone 7  has a A10 fusion chip which a 64 bit quad core processor. A10 fusion chip is a beast performer and handle tasks easily.iPhone 7 has a 2GB RAM. It has IP67 certification which means iPhone 7 is water resistant. It has a fingerprint sensor for faster unlocking.iPhone 7 comes with inbuilt storage starting at 32GB which is not expandable.

Samsung Galaxy S8 has power driven by Octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset(2.3GHz Quad + 1.7GHz Quad) in the US, while many other regions including India will get Company’s Exynos 8895(2.35GHz Quad + 1.9GHz Quad) chipset. The smartphone has 4GB RAM and 64GB inbuilt storage(expandable via MicroSD card up to 256GB). It has a IP68 certification which means this smartphone is also water resistant. This smartphone also has fingerprint sensor and also supports wireless charging and fast charging feature. Samsung Galaxy S8 has inbuilt storage of 64GB which is expandable via MicroSD card up to 256GB.

Both the smartphones performs well due to beast processors in them. No lags were encountered in both of them. But on our side, we choose Samsung Galaxy S8 due to more powerful processor and RAM.


iPhone 7 has company’s iOS 10 built in. iOS 10 has its debut on the iPhone 7 due to which iPhone 7 is more smooth to use and supports all the features.

Samsung Galaxy S8 comes with Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box with company’s own UI.

Both the smartphones have a smooth software. But as Android is more customizable and handy to use, we prefer Samsung Galaxy S8.

iPhone 7 starts with a price tag of Rs.57,000 while Samsung has not yet announced the price of the smartphone. But the prices of US Carrier has been obtained by The Verge. The starting price tag by Verizon Wireless offers Samsung Galaxy S8 at $720(Around Rs.47,000). The price in India of the smartphone has not been announced till now.

After full comparison, we found out that Samsung Galaxy S8 wins the overall battle. Apple needs to launch a competitive iPhone 8 in this battle of smartphones.

Don’t take us inaccurate, iPhone 7 is also a good option because it is a water resistant but it does not have a headphone jack. If you are an Apple fan, then just go for it otherwise Samsung Galaxy S8 is the winner.
